Realistically, I know the season is already written and probably like 75% filmed.

But this is my happy ending for the show. Please, please, please. Let this show not end the way so many shows do with them trying to be "artistic" and completely letting the fans down.

Thank you for helping create such a great show! I’m sorry it’s coming to an end, but I’m looking forward to the upcoming season.

Well, it’s hit Deadline, so I guess I can talk about it: this is the end for The Blacklist. I’m deeply sad about it! I am sure I will say more over the weeks and months to come, and certainly there is excitement to find out what my next adventure will be, but right now I’m sad! I’ve been at the show for eight years, longer than I’ve ever had any job in the past and probably longer than I’ll ever have any job in the future. I’m sad about not seeing my friends every day and writing this crazy little show they let us write.

Anyway, we still have episodes to write and I’m in New York prepping my episode (!!!!) so we’re not totally done. Still fun times to be had!!

The Blacklist is the funniest possible show the insane conspiracy theory-ridden alt-right could’ve latched onto but it’s also not very funny is it. Yet still fascinating how a particular group can obsess over something without understanding it at all

The Blacklist

I am sitting down to watch all 10 seasons of Blacklist.

I have known of the show since 2013, yet I haven't watched a single episode beside a intro scene where Raymond Reddington gives himself up in the FBI HQ. I was too invested in House MD, Doctor Who and BBC Sherlock to invest more time on that show.

I wanted to watch it after season 4 of BBC Sherlock has aired but emotionally I was too drained to do that, if you know what I mean ;)

Now however I got my hands on all 10 seasons on Blu-ray and DVD's.

So far I'm 9 episodes in the first seasons and I love the show. Raymond reminds me of Mycroft but more of a cheeky version of him, more sure of himself and what he does.

Do I know how the show ends? I know who dies and more or less when in the show yet what the seasons finale is about - no I don't know. I don't want to know so if you will put spoilers in this post - you'll get banned by me so be warned!

Side note: I have watched one movie with James Spader in my entire life. The Stargate from 1994. His role was that of Daniel Jackson. Since I have all seasons of Stargate and the movies, I seriously need to re-watch that original movie when I get the chance.
